I'm a Technical Team Lead at IG Group's EU Banking Division, where I architect payment systems that handle real money in real time. My current focus is the Swiss Instant Payment system — a regulatory mandate requiring all Swiss banks to process CHF payments within 25 seconds, around the clock.
Over 12+ years, I've moved across the full stack — from AngularJS e-commerce frontends to Spring Boot backends, AWS Lambda serverless pipelines, and Kafka event streaming. The common thread has always been payments: from PayPal checkout flows to ISO 20022 SWIFT bank transfers.
